Colton's 2nd Birthday

Wake up in a crib full of a balloons! He was in HEAVEN!

 (healthy) banana pancakes for breakfast!

Pool Date with friends - Jackson, Liam, & Maddie

Cupcakes from Meg!

Presents. He LOVED opening presents this year.

A tool bench from playgroup!

QT with Dad on the couch - lounging sickies.

Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes. Delish! Jackson, Peter, and Evers inhaled them!

So you can kind of see the set up - water table, baby pools, basketball, ride toys, squirt guns, beach balls, chalk, balloons - the kiddos loved it.

C was not really feeling the party - no surprise. He was beginning to get sick plus he hates crowds. He came out for cupcakes and later, when some people had left.

Had to include a pic of this adorable party animal.

Sickie snuggles on the couch, watching baseball :)

Colton refused to wear pants his entire party. Then, after getting wet, had to take his shirt off too. The majority of the night he was walking around with his booty crack showing. Classy parties we throw :)

Of course the kids would rather play on the trash cans than with toys - no surprise

Homemade strawberry shortcake cupcakes filled with homemade strawberry jelly

Pre-party - no pants then either!

Uncle Smooth came - and brought C lots of Michigan gear!

A super delayed second birthday post! Colton was starting to get sick on his birthday (Thursday) and only recently started to feel better. I, of course, got it after, so I'm behind with the blog!

Colton had a great birthday. We had a very fun, low key, relaxing day, then a party, a rally in the alley, the Saturday after. Almost ALL of his friends came (minus Theo). Even the newest playgroup member, Sadie came - only 5 days old! Needless to say, our alley was packed! Colton didn't love the crowd (and wasn't feeling great) and bailed on the majority of his party. He came out for cupcakes and once half the crowd left. He loved having 'pres' (presents), eating cupcakes, telling everyone 'I two,' and not wearing clothes - pretty standard 2 year old I'd say. It was nice getting together with EVERYONE here, which we normally have trouble doing - too many people, not enough space. The alley was perfect. Even Uncle Smooth (Ryan) came up from DC! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Dad was home! Success!
