the Move

For months now, we've been telling Colton that we're moving to the beach. But he hasn't gotten it. We've visited the beach twice this year, so I think he just thinks we're visiting and that we'll come back to his 'favorite house ever' (yes, seriously, that's what he calls this house). But yesterday, he got it. We were packing some things up, talking about the move and Colton said, 'Ma I don't want to move to the beach. Then I can't see Ben.' Heartbreak. It was the saddest and sweetest thing. Tears (from me). And more tears again just thinking about it. Minus the weather, Colton really loves Baltimore, his friends here, and all the fun things we get to do.
