National Building Museum - DC

We went to DC do check out the Beach exhibit at the National Building Museum - awesome! 10,000sq ft ball pit with white turf as sand, translucent balls as water, beach chairs, umbrellas, the works. Checked out District of Pi for pizza after - yum yum!

That's the Everett in him...

Colton is OBSESSED with tennis. And I don't even really watch tennis - or TV at all. But he is.. and here's how it started.

To begin with, C doesn't watch TV. He'll be in the room when the baseball or football game is on, but he doesn't watch shows - hasn't yet, and I have no real desire to start. But he is interested in baseball. So the other day, we were all three at the Wine Merchant ordering lunch. There was a TV showing Wimbledon. No noise. Not in a very eye-catching location. But C saw it and was OBSESSED with watching. He didn't know what it was called, but we told him, and since then, he asks multiple times a day to 'watch tennis.' How funny is that?! Never seen it in person. neither parent is super into it, but C LOVES it. He gets out a tennis ball while it's on too. So funny. Not sure what he's going to do now that Wimbledon is over!

Wednesdays + PJ obsession

Wednesday is trash day!!!! C's favorite. We go outside every time he hears the truck - 2 or 3 times they come down our street. 

And story time at the library!

Notice c is wearing PJs still at story time. He's going thru a new stage - only wanting wear jams/won't get dressed. This week I decided not to fight the battle - see how long it takes for him to get over himself :) 

I spend Tuesday nights with these two crazies (and J's amazing mama) and I just enjoy the heck out them!
