Old Home Week - Bonfire + Concert

One of my favorite events of the summer - the bonfire and concert at Craigville Beach at the end of Old Home Week! This year we met the Milnes and the Kochs there. The kids had a blast and we didn't hear a peep from them all night... until it was bonfire time. Colton was a little nervous about the fire... Sweet Kayleigh put her arm around Colton and said, 'don't worry. if it gets out of control, I'll put you on my back and just run.' How stinking cute (and that's the photo of the girl with her arm around Colton above).

First Race

For Centerville Old Home Week, there were a few road races..  kids included. For 6 year olds it was a 100M dash. Colton was SOO excited for it. He talked about it for weeks leading up to it... he kept saying he was going to WIN the race. I thought, no way. But turns out he did. Ha.
