The Crawl

Yes, it now qualifies as crawling, not just army crawling. It happened about one week after the army crawl. He's faster. Thankfully though, he is still content to just sit and play (I know, this won't last long). He will crawl to come get me or get something he shouldn't have (shoes, cords, dogs), but he also sits still and yaps and eats his toys. He also refuses to crawl on cue. We went to the Gustins for dinner on Friday night and I thought he'd be all over the place with their two dogs plus Peter walking everywhere and all the new toys, but nope, he just sat still, refusing to crawl, even with coaxing. I think he likes being able to get where he wants/needs to go, but he would still prefer to stand up and walk. When sitting, he is constantly looking for your hands so he can grab onto you and pull up and walk to wherever. Today, he started crawling sans knees or walking on all fours. He's only done it once (it wore him out, he had to go take a nap after!), so we'll see if this is a new thing.. Wondering how long it's going to take this kiddo to learn to walk...
