Well, we just got back from a semi-successful trip to Charleston, SC. Alex had every intention of convincing me to move there. However, after being there 4 nights, neither of us wanted to move. It is nice, but we both like Baltimore better. The humidity and bug bites didn't help his cause :) It is nice to go somewhere else though and realize how much you really like where you already live!
Colton was a trooper on the plane ride there. He warmed up a little more each day to the beach. By the end he was sitting in the water and letting the waves crash on him. We avoided all meltdowns, no sand in the eyes, no sunburn, overall, great trip! Glad we went, but not going back any time soon and definitely not moving there!

carriage ride through the city - C threw Sophie off the carriage (sophie #2). I had the driver stop so I could get out to get her, only to find out it is illegal to get off the carriage. So we drove on and the cute old ladies sitting in front of us flagged down a young couple and convinced them to go get Sophie. HA!
