23 Months

this sweet little nugget is 23 months (and now a few days) old! he's been a bit slower on the talking front compared to some of his friends, mainly because of the extensive signing he does, but is now really catching up. just this week he's started saying, 'i food,' 'i sleep,' 'i outside,' 'i do this,' 'i do that.' it is adorable. his words are finally starting to become more distinctive and he's adding syllables! it's just so sweet.

still potty trained. and man is life easier! even on our 5 hour flight, he did great. better than i expected. he likes peeing outside on trees the best - imagine!

he has a new obsession with trains (choochs)

still obsessed with playing outside.. and his dad.. and bath time.. and eating... and riding the bike..and reading... and coloring.. and playing ball... and playing in the 'back'

he's very into doing things himself - opening his banana in the morning, putting his own pants and shoes on, and the like. he even likes to read his own book while you're reading another book out loud to him..! ha.

love this boy so so much and can't believe he's going to be two in less than a month! seattle pictures to come!
