I know I say this every month, but I can't believe this little guy is already 8 months.
And, as usual, I could not pick which photos to post, so you get a bunch..
At eight months old, Colton is just an absolute joy. He is so happy and so good 99% of the time.
He has just found his fingers. You often see him holding up only one finger at a time. And he stares at them while he's doing it. It's adorable.
He is grabbing more and more.. and taking things from other babies as well - bully!
He is still so very into other babies. He just loves them (and his own reflection).
He also now loves both dogs!
He is ticklish everywhere and doesn't mind it as much as he used to. My favorite is his ticklish knee fat!
He detests peas... still. And does this dramatic gag when I try and feed them to him.
He LOVES chilli, prunes, and beef stew. And by love, I mean, screams with joy while he's eating it, flails his arms, and says mm mm mm the whole time.
He is SO very close to crawling (both good and bad for me!). He is still scooting backward, occassionally forward (with legs only). He is often in the push-up or downward dog position.
He lights up when he sees his Dad.
He loves playing/eating the newspaper.
He is so interested in the forbidden toys - my coffee, the remote, the iPhone.
He is a cuddler! I know, I'm lucky :)
And still, since day one, he would rather be standing. He tries to takes steps now.
When he's sitting, he looks around and reaches for your fingers to grab on to to stand up.
He concentrates and bites his bottom lip while doing so.
He has become so much more observant.
And gosh, there is so very much more about this little boy, but I'll quit my bragging :)
