- he say a Dalmatian being walked down the street and asked, 'ma, why is that dog so moldy?!'
- burrito instead of barista
- so often, he will forget what time of day it is, have JUST woken up from nap or from the night and
ask if he's already taken a nap or not. he is still a super napper. love it.
- 'real play' instead of replay. and he almost always watches the replay of whatever sport we're
watching and cheer during it, as if it were live.
- missed nap one day recently because we were doing something... around 4 he decided he actually
wanted to take a nap then. i refused (it was 4 after all!), and he said, 'aww mom please? (got semi-
upset)... well can i at least take one tomorrow???'
- SO into rhyming. seriously rhymes everything.
- super into riva. boston is meh for him. but riva... he loves riva.
- super into snow. just loves it. and surprisingly does not get cold
- he has ice skating lessons 1/week. he just switched to hockey skates and the other day before his
lessons asked, 'ma can we just call it hockey practice instead of ice skating? that sounds better.'
- obsessed with eating 'yolky eggs' - probably his favorite food right now. it is one of the messier
things he does.
- wants to wear long johns 24/7
- very into crafting. and being outside. and legos. and boats. and fishing. and tools.
- still misses baltimore. he occasionally says he wants to move back. but then he remembers we live
at the beach and can't makeup his mind.
- favorite songs include: beautiful drug by zak brown band, I'm sorry miss jackson, any tom petty
song, any bob marley song, give it away now by RHCP, any nelly song, and million reasons by
lady gaga
- 'accent' for accident
- 'orplane' for airplane
- he has this book about the Titanic and he started hypothesizing why it crashed. He came to the
conclusion that the driver was texting and driving - ha!
- 'stashuuu' for pistachio
- still can't pronounce his 'y' or 'l' or 'c/k'
- 'daj' for garage
- 'yun' for one.
- 'I'm mam' for I am
- Was trying to retell a joke some of the big kids were telling -- the punchline was 'Target'.. as in the
store... and they punch each other in the arm right after they say Target. He tried to retell it but
substituted 'Kmart' for 'Target' (since we don't have a target or walmart here... we ACTUALLY
do still have a kmart though... and it was hilarious and so so cute.
- caught him saving wrapping paper all month in his room. didn't know what he was doing, so
finally asked. he was saving it so he could wrap the gifts he made us. how sweet is that? don't
worry, i let him have new paper :)
