Last night we went to Annie's for a Labor Day Cookout. I got NO pictures. At one point, all of the moms and kids were in the 12x12 basement and all the men were outside, sans kids, but with beers. I looked around at one point and just started laughing. Not EVERY person in our little (well, big really) group was there, but the majority. It was insane.
Peter was not quite himself. Plus everyone was playing with HIS toys. He was pushing everyoneeeee. Hilarious.
Maddy made her way outside to the parking pad to scope out all the strollers for snacks.
Ryan took her pants off and was running around like a mad woman.
Mary was trying to kiss everyone.
Colton was a bit overwhelmed with the large crowd + a bit cranky bc he cut a molar yesterday.
Jackson tried to followed the boys around, but with his cast/peg leg, he was so slow. By the time he got to where they were, they left.
Ben was the same way, a little slow following the others around.
And Mary Grace, just chilled and watched everyone and all the craziness.
It was fun, crazy, but fun. And it's just funny to sit back and think, is this real life?!
In other news, C fells down the stairs not once but TWICE yesterday. Once at the park. Once in our back patio.. and the concrete caught him that time. He has a nasty boo boo on his head. He also fell UP a stair outside at Annie's last night and cut his lip. All of a sudden, he's decided he no longer needs to CRAWL the stairs, he thinks he can walk them. Well, he's wrong. Minimal crying... especially compared to the amount of crying/fit pitching he did yesterday walking home from the park when I made him hold my hand crossing the road.
